How G3CARS Works
The G3CARS platform can
be installed on Tablet PC’s or aircraft EFB and is configured to operate
with the airlines form design and documentation methodologies, such as
that used for the aircraft’s Logbook. The Electronic forms provided by
the G3CARS platform are completed by pilots utilizing the G3CARS unique
data entry technologies that simplify the input process and improve the
accuracy of data. These technologies include handwriting recognition,
airline specific data entry methods and validation rules, quantity
calculations, “Point and Shoot” drop down menus, and digital signatures.
Once completed, the pilot
transmits the forms directly into the airline's database. Upon receipt,
the database verifies the data and sends a receipt back to the G3CARS
terminal guaranteeing the integrity of data flow.

The G3CARS Terminal
also accommodates operational and maintenance documentation for cockpit,
cabin and ground crew use.
By incorporating a
Technical Library within the G3CARS platform, the airline can upload and
maintain reference documentation that the crew can quickly access..
Finally, the system
incorporates Crew Email to keep the crew and airline in touch during
aircraft turnaround.
